DO I NEED TO PURCHASE TICKETS?
Yes, you can purchase tickets online or at the door. We recommend pre-purchasing your tickets to avoid the box office line up.
HOW DO I GET TO DALWOOD ESTATE?
Parking - Exciting news - we now have access to more parking space at Hunter Events Bar & BBQ Festival! This means there is now plenty of parking and we no longer need to have a ticketed parking system. Parking is now FREE! If you have purchased a Parking Pass this will be refunded to you and can take up to 10 to 15 days to return to your card.
Coaches – We have partnered with Rover Coaches to transport you from a variety of different areas. For more information go to the Getting There page.
IS THERE ACCOMMODATION ON SITE?
No, there is no accommodation at the festival site. However, Hunter Events has partnered with Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley to bring you some awesome deals exclusive to Bar & BBQ patrons. Packages include reduced rates, free breakfast and return transfers to and from Dalwood Estate. Book now!
CAN CHILDREN ATTEND THE EVENT?
We welcome absolutely everyone at our family friendly festival and we'd love for your children to attend. With rides, children's entertainment, face painting and so much more, our littlest guests will have just as much fun. Please keep in mind that there is alcohol being served in almost all sections of the event and kids must always be accompanied at the festival by an adult. Our event is also pram friendly.
Adults that appear under 25yo will have their ID checked on entry. All over 18s will be issued with an wrist band and only patrons with these wrist band will be given a tasting card and severed alcohol tastings. Each alcohol tasting stand may further request ID checks to meet their RSA requirements.
CAN I PURCHASE GOODS?
Yes! There are food stalls, alcohol and market stalls all selling their produce available to purchase on the day. Most of the suppliers have EFTPOS facilities, but it is always handy to also have some cash.
CAN I BRING DRINKS INTO THE EVENT?
No beverages will be allowed into the festival, but there are plenty of vendors to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Complimentary water stations will be provided. All bags will be screened by security. We will be accommodating for baby and infant needs.
CAN I BRING FOOD INTO THE EVENT?
No food will be allowed into the festival. There will be plenty of different foods available to purchase on the day. A list of dietary friendly stalls will be available at our information station on the day.
CAN I BRING PETS?
We love fur babies too but unless they're a registered service companion unfortunately no animals will be allowed entry.
DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKETS?
No, we can use our check in system to scan your tickets via your phone or device.
WILL THERE BE SECURITY AT THE EVENT?
Yes, a local security company has been contracted to ensure the event remains safe and family friendly for everyone. Our contracted security staff are RSA Marshalls to monitor alcohol consumption.
WILL I NEED TO BRING CASH? ARE THERE ATMs?
There will be ATM's available but avoid queues and bring cash with you.
WILL THERE BE FIRST AID?
St Johns will be available for all your first aid needs.
